Superbike WM in the Miller Motorsports Park/United States: 2. run

(Autosport.com) Carlos Checa celebrated in Utah in the Miller Motorsports Park a stunning double victory. The Spaniard led off the second race from the start and managed a five-second lead within a short time before Leon Camier and Max Biaggi. Checa ran up to six tenths of a second faster than his challenger this per round.

Eugene Laverty, who was restored to the middle of the race with ease from Biaggi to the line, placing it behind the lead group. The Italian was quicker than Yamaha's doing about ten kilometres per hour.
