Sadness and sympathy: The sidecar Duo Bill Currie/Kevin Morgan died in yesterday's second qualifying at the TT2011.

(Autosport.com) Bill Currie and Kevin Morgan are dead. The sidecar duo crashed yesterday Tuesday, May 31, 2011, in the second qualifying session of the transport units to the TT2011 at Ballacrye. He is 67 years old and was back on plenty of experience on the Isle of man. In 1969, he was denied his first race at the mountain circuit, last year he won eight rank with his best TT result at all. His co pilot Morgan was 59 years, and he also belonged to the most experienced pilots on the island of man. He had celebrated his debut in 1984 on the TT. Since then, he went with Currie.
